Hello Readers of MBCN.ORG,
I am pleased to announce the launch of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network’s brand new website! After 4 months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch on October 10, 2016. While the site is new, the URL remains the same: www.mbcn.org.
Our goal with the new website is to provide visitors an easier way to get information about metastatic breast cancer, understand treatments for various subtypes, find resources to help patients live stronger with a good quality of life, and find stories from other patients to inspire and sustain them.
Among the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and our YouTube site to foster improved communication among the metastatic breast cancer community and MBCN. Our drop down boxes contain lots of information for those newly diagnosed as well as longer-term thrivers, fighters and metsters. We will be updating our content with helpful information, news articles, blogs, newsletters, upcoming events and new patient stories.
We hope you will appreciate the fresh look of the new website and its easy to access information.
We dedicate the launch of our website to our friend and former MBCN Vice-President, Ginny Knackmuhs, who worked many hours on its content. Ginny passed away on August 15, 2016, and we miss her quick wit and sharp eye. Ginny, your work on the website is a lasting legacy for all!
