Applying for Disability Benefits: Free 2017 Webinar on June 28

If you have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, the last thing on your mind should be making ends meet financially. On June 28, 2017, the MBC Alliance will offer an online overview of potential disability options.

Metastatic breast cancer automatically qualifies medically for disability benefits from the Social Security Administration (SSA), though you will still need to apply and meet the SSA’s technical qualification rules. These include strict financial limits for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or work credit requirements for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

The MBC Alliance webinar will review the following questions:

1) What are the different types of disability insurance?
2) What are the differences between SSI and SSDI?
3) How can I improve the changes of my application being approved?
4) How can I speed up the application process?
5) What happens if my application is denied?
6) How do I find a disability insurance attorney?

Read on for more information–you can register here.
